Amber Aguirre: Ceramic Artist and Instructor

After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Southern California, Amber continued her education and received two Masters' degrees as well as two California State teaching credentials.  Amber taught at public high schools for many years,teaching classes in ceramics, drawing, and jewelry making.

Amber offers workshops and private lessons on any ceramic related topic .  She teaches private lessons in her home studio in Kailua Kona, Hawaii where she has all the equipment necessary to produce any kind of ceramic work.  Private lessons run $25.00 per hour (a seperate nominal fee is charged for glaze firing).

Amber also offers custom created workshops of one or two days.
 
Prices for a one day workshop in studio are as follows:
Private or semi-private (1-4 persons) $200.00 per person
Group (5-30 persons)  $75.00 per person

Amber also can take her portable kiln and equipment to other sites.  Prices for a non-studio workshop are as follows:
1-15 persons $1500.  Additional persons (up to 30) are $75. each.

Prices for a two day worshop are double that of a one day.
Both include all glazes and firings.
